Notable Events:
Dez Skinn resigned from his position of editor and publisher of Quality Comics in 1987. Much was made of the fact that quality control issues lay at the root of his dissatisfaction with the way the titles were being handled.
In 1994 Tony Weare jumped from the pier in Porthleven, Cornwall, to his death. The reason for his suicide was increasing difficulty in mobility.
Insomnia Publications Ltd. dissolved in 2011.
The ABC Show began at the Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way, London, in 2012. The show used the imminent demise of The Dandy as an excuse to focus on the characters and creators from the title.
