The uncommon strips reprinted here are, to say the least, unusual. With the better-known material having been strip-mined by various titles over the years, it is refreshing to see a few which have (unjustly) been neglected since their initial publication. The mix of strips is engaging, although there is a distinct lack of new material here – though with another 1967 Batman annual to compete with, such an oversight is perfectly understandable.
